As part of the Year 9 Science course, our ākonga have been studying the plant way of life this Term.

As part of this topic, Year 9 went on a field trip to Rainbow Park Nurseries on Thursday 4th April. Akonga were taken on a tour by the owner Andrew Taylor. The tour looked at the state-of-the-art greenhouse facilities and students learnt about sustainable and low impact horticulture using technology and modern propagation techniques. 

The students got to see a working local nursery and many thanks goes to Rainbow Park Nurseries and Andrew Taylor for supporting this field trip.
