On the evening of Thursday the 6th of November, our Year 9 students and their families gathered for the much-anticipated Spaghetti Evening, a warm and faith-filled event designed to strengthen the partnership between home and school. Over a shared meal, families experienced Ignatian Spirituality in action, as students led their parents through the Daily Examen and guided spiritual conversations focusing on reflective questions.
After dinner, Fr Michael Smith SJ offered a reflection that encouraged families to slow down and recognise God in all things. Students took the lead throughout the evening, serving food, welcoming guests, and modelling leadership through faith and service.
The event was a wonderful celebration of community, highlighting the ongoing journey of formation that unites our students, families, and staff.
