On Wednesday 10th December, our school community gathered in gratitude for this year’s Thanksgiving Mass, a time to pause and give thanks to God for the many blessings we have received throughout a successful year. It was a beautiful celebration of faith, friendship, and shared purpose. We were joined by Fr Michael Smith SJ, Fr Robert Steele, Parish Priest of St Patrick's Parish, Pukekohe, and Fr Chris Gleeson SJ, who represented the Jesuit Province. Their presence reminded us of the deep connections we share within the wider Jesuit family and our local parishes.
This Mass was also a moment of farewell as we expressed our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Eka Tanaya SJ for his service and pastoral care within our community. His commitment to the college has made an impact on the college community. We send him forth with our prayers and blessings for the journey ahead. As we look back on the year, we give thanks for the opportunities to learn, grow, and support one another. May the spirit of gratitude continue to inspire us as we move forward into the new year with hope and faith.
