Franklin Pacifika Speech Competition
We are incredibly proud of our students who represented St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic School at the recent Franklin Pacifica Speech Competition.Five talented students participated in the competition, demonstrating confidence, courage, and pride in sharing their languages and cultures:
Rose Emelio – Tongan Language
Ava Latu – Tongan Bilingual
Veronika Tewete– Kiribati
Fatai Helu – Tongan
Genesis Feagaiga– Samoan Bilingual
The competition was very strong, with students from across the region showcasing their knowledge, language, culture, and public-speaking skills. Our students represented St Ignatius with great confidence and demonstrated the values of respect, courage, perseverance, and excellence.
A special congratulations to Rose Emelio, who was awarded the Overall Winner – Tongan Speech, and Veronika Tewete , who received the Kiribati Speech Award.
We are so proud of all five students for stepping forward, sharing their voices, and proudly representing their cultures and our school community.
