Year 11 Drama Production 'The Struggles'
Year 11 Drama Production 'The Struggles'"
On the 14th and 15th of October, our Year 11 Drama students performed their curriculum production of The Struggles by Kedra Thomas, delivering a powerful and thought-provoking performance that left audiences blown away by their professionalism, maturity and talent. The play explores the challenges students face when navigating the education system and everyday life with dyslexia and ADD, highlighting the importance of understanding, empathy and recognising that everyone learns differently. Our students approached this challenging subject matter with sensitivity and authenticity, bringing their characters to life through confident performances, expressive physicality and a strong emotional connection to the story. Their ability to tackle such an important topic with maturity and conviction was truly impressive, and the feedback from audiences reflected just how deeply the performance resonated with those watching. We are incredibly proud of the commitment, collaboration and courage these students demonstrated in bringing this production to the stage.
