New Gym Site Visit

This week, on Tuesday the 22nd of September, we as Sports Leaders had the privilege of being given a tour around our school's new gym. It was a great opportunity to see the new facility and learn more about how the space will benefit students and the wider school community. Being able to see the gym before it is officially finished gave us a better understanding of the work that has been going on throughout the school year. The tour allowed us to see how much progress had already been made, while also learning about the work that is still underway. My first impression of the gym was how spacious and modern it looked. What stood out to me most was the amount of space students will have to play sports and take part in activities. I think students will enjoy using the new gym because it will give them more opportunities to stay active, improve their skills and get involved in different sports. Even once the gym officially opens, there is still going to be development/ changes to be made to improve the space over time.  Overall, the tour gave us a greater appreciation for the work that has gone into creating the new gym and left us excited to see how it will benefit our school community
