Year 11 Thanksgiving Mass 2026

Year 11 Thanksgiving Mass

On Thursday afternoon, our Year 11 students gathered for their Thanksgiving Mass, celebrated by Fr Michael Smith. It was a fitting opportunity to give thanks for the many blessings, achievements, and experiences that have shaped the year.

In his homily, Fr Michael reflected on St Paul’s image of the Armour of God, encouraging students to stay grounded in faith, truth, and courage as they navigate life's opportunities and challenges. He spoke about how being open to the world, new experiences, and other people requires vulnerability. While vulnerability can sometimes leave us exposed, it also allows us to grow, build meaningful relationships, and encounter God in unexpected ways. The Mass provided a valuable moment of reflection as students considered the year and prepared for study leave.
